These images depict the ongoing construction of a wildlife overpass on the I-90 near Snoqualmie Pass expected to be completed in 2018. This will be the first overpass on I-90, the longest interstate Highway in the United States, which runs east to west between Seattle and Boston. The overpass is expected to reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions and improve connectivity for a wide range of wildlife species, large and small, to move safely across the landscape. For more information about the project visit the I-90 Wildlife Bridges Coalition. |
